Many of my comments on all of my peer review activities included strictly comments pertaining to grammatical or punctuation errors as well as some comments about the parts of the paper I thought were written well. While these are helpful comments for my peer to use they are not the most beneficial and constructive. My initial growth actually came after receiving back one of my rough drafts after a peer review. I received extremely constructive comments which really helped me with my revision process on that paper and gave me a better understanding of the expectations for peer review comments that can actually make a difference towards someones paper. After that experience paired with continued learning and experience from class activities I started to give strong comments and ideas for change on all my peer review activities. One of my comments included “Maybe expand on this a little more, include specific examples and evidence to support your main topic”. Comments like this not only I am sure influenced others writings but also made  me look more in depth to my own piece and the expectations for my paper.
